Before taking the course, we used to charge for time. One of the big things we’ve changed now is that we charge for value. We work out exactly what our clients need in terms of sales, work it back, put a figure on that, and then show them what they need to spend to achieve it.
Such a simple yet key change in his business model helped him start charging much higher retainers than usual.
We’ve been able to land retainers from 2,500 pounds upwards and initially made a huge impact on our cash flow.
The best part for Gordon has been the capacity to plan his business with higher precision, lowering his daily pressure to hit his target goals.
With the higher revenue, Gordon can now start working his way up to the million pounds mark and achieve his long-time goal, all thanks to the system he’s been implementing every since he started Consulting Empire.
You can really start to plan a little bit better, and that takes a lot of pressure off you months to months. Turnovers up about 15%, that’s a work in progress, but we’re getting close to that one million pound mark for the end of our fiscal year in April.
