MEET ALLAN

The year is 2018 and Allan is on vacation with his fiance visiting her parents in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. He spends his vacation holed up in his room learning how to build an ecommerce business from Gretta van Riel.

Allan had started a business before, but he wanted this one done right.

Throughout the following year, Allan worked on every aspect of his brand Sacred Sauce, for its January 2020 launch.

I’d feel like it was a successful launch. All the validation was done, the automation, the marketing and the website, all the right things were put in place.

From January to April 2020, Allan made $2,800 in international sales and he’s had three retailers interested in carrying his product.

While the launch coincided with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Allan says he hasn’t been impacted.

Sales are still coming, every day or every second day. So everything still seems to be working.
