When Eliza decided to leave the world of real estate behind to start her own business in January 2018, she was excited to begin the journey of working for herself. But when she launched her eyebrow styling business to bookings solely from friends and family, she knew that growing her business was going to be a struggle.

She knew she needed to start marketing herself online, but without the funds available to pour into paid advertising, she wasn’t sure how to begin. She scoured the Internet for help, but couldn’t find what she was looking for.

“You find a blog that says, ‘get 5,000 followers on Instagram,’ and they all say the same thing. They say, ‘post great content every day,’ and ‘be present on your stories every day,’ but it doesn’t really get into the real nuts and bolts of how you do that.”

So, when she came across Instagram Domination she could tell immediately that this was something different. While she was nervous about the cost of the course, she had struggled for so long to find what she was looking for that she was ready to give it a try.

Eliza says that the rich detail of the course immediately captivated her. She loved the way it walked her through broad ideas but also hyper-specific details, like taking quality photos, attract the right kind of followers and make connections with influencers.

Today, Eliza’s Instagram has over 18,000 followers, and that has translated to massive growth in actual business.

“Before this, I was working full time in the real estate industry, and I was working 38 hours for probably half the amount of money I will earn in a week now.”

In her first financial year, Eliza’s business, Brows By Eliza, brought in just over $40,000. Only about 5 months into her second financial year, she’s brought in $30,000, putting her on track to nearly double her revenue from year one. And with over 700 clients in her database, it’s only going to be up from here.
