This is an app for iOS & Android specifically for managing your email on Google apps or iCloud. Once you start using this to manage your mail, you will learn to have the experience of ‘Email Zen’. I have to say there is no better feeling than looking at your mailbox and you have zero emails and this is exactly what this app is for. It’s so intuitive to use, and the simplicity of it is out of this world. Please do yourself a favour and start using this one to manage your email. You will be a super responsive person, and never have to worry about having your inbox filled.
Schedule Once
An absolutely brilliant tool for scheduling up meetings and appointments. If anyone wants to schedule up a time to meet me online/offline they can do so by visiting meetme.so/nathanchan. This also works extremely well with time zones, and integrates perfectly with your Apple or Google calendar. This tool has been a godsend for me scheduling up interviews and meeting people, especially online with so many different time zones.
Google Apps for Business
Since moving to Google apps to run Foundr I couldn’t be happier. We use Google Drive for storage, Google mail for email, Google Calendar and much more all integrated into the one place. It’s super cheap, and easily accessible from ANYWHERE! Cannot recommend this service enough for setting up and hosting your own email. I now have all my email accounts coming into this one mailbox, which means I don’t have to check multiple accounts and am always across all of my emails.
Followup.cc
You know when you send someone an email, and you’re not sure if they will reply? I get this all the time reaching out to people. What you can do is always use followup.cc and never miss a follow up. It sometimes takes me 5 email follow ups for a person to get back to me. Using followup.cc allows me to send an email without the worry of having to know if they will get back to me or if I will forget. Brilliant service.
IFTTT (If This Then That)
This my friends is an absolute game changer. You can automate so much with this extremely powerful tool. What IFTTT does is integrate and talk to many different web applications, which allows you to create ‘recipes’. For example if I star an important email in Gmail, if I forget to follow it up I will get a calendar reminder in my Google Calendar. Or if I publish a blog post to my website it will automatically post an update to a facebook page. The possibilities are endless! You will have a lot of fun optimizing your tasks with IFTTT.
