Katherine has worked in e-commerce management for 30 years and has been responsible for managing sites as well as creating and implementing 360 marketing campaigns. Katherine’s retail experience doesn't just live online- Katherine has retail in her blood. Her great grandfather, Paul Lowe Sloan, started a department store in Nashville, Tennessee in 1903 called Cain Sloan. Her family sold the business in the 1960s and it was taken over by a major department store. Katherine’s deep family roots in retail has provided her with in-depth knowledge and a very clear, ingrained vision for retail. This vision combined with her knack for design which developed from her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History (U of Colorado, Boulder) has amounted to Katherine's wonderfully unique perspective as a retailer and expert in this space.
